“This church in the heart of old Montreal is a jewel of Quebec Heritage . Oh and also homegirl Celine Dion got married here! I would recommend you walk down the cross street St Sulpice to SSENSE cafe ( 5th floor ) for a UNIQUE coffee shop designed by renowned architect David Chipperfield or walk a little further down to hotel William gray for a meal or a classic Italian coffee shop now also running through them called Olympico. ”

“Cette superbe église, face à l'eau, à beaucoup de vécu. Vous pouvez encore voir les trous de boulet de cannon sur la facade. De plus, la rue principale vous amènera a découvrir le vieux St-Eustache et tout son cachet.”

“This church was inaugurated in 1919. It is famous for its large cupola and brick façade, and especially its frescos by Guido Nincheri. A particularly well-known fresco depicts Benito Mussolini; painted before World War II, it commemorates his signing of the Lateran Accords. A statue in front of the church commemorates "victims of all wars." Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2002,[1] it is located at 6800 Henri-Julien Avenue at the corner of Dante Street (Jean-Talon or Beaubien metro stations) in the borough of Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie. Plaqued in 2005, the Church serves the oldest Italian community in Canada.[2] (This was taken from its website) ”
