-Please check "Ama Ur cooking studio". -I´ll show you ingredients from traditional Basque gastronomy and we will locate them geographically in the territory of the seven Basque provinces, so you can tour the Basque Country through its gastronomic culture. -We will cook and taste 6 of the most famous Pintxos of San Sebastián´s bars, while I tell you their stories, secrets and tips so you can cook like a local chef. They will be 6 bite "Basque tapas" that will include local ingredients as fish, pork, cheese, eggs, dairy products and vegetables. Dessert will include the original recipe of "the best Cheesecake in the World", from "La Viña" bar. It is possible to adapt the 6 pintxos for vegetarians, but because most of the ingredients in our culture are of animal origin, it is not a course suitable for vegans. Sorry. -We will set up a little stand with different props for you to take beautiful photographs of the Pintxos you've prepared, so you can share your experience and new knowledge with family and friends. Cook like a local !! Other things to note The class I offer is dynamic. You, traveller, will cook your own Pintxos with my help. The most important thing is to arrive hungry for cooking, learning, enjoying and getting your hands dirty!!

From our meeting point we will visit the Old Town of San Sebastian where you will learn about Basque traditions and customs. You will visit bars off the normal tourist trail, eating and drinking like locals do. You will get to try and enjoy 6 pintxos (tapas) that I choose for you, 1 sweet pintxo and 5 drinks (wine, beer, cider…). The tour will last 2.5h approximately.

We will meet at 7 am, in the old town. After a briefing, we will go to the balconies of an apartment located in the MERCADERES street and LA CURVA de la ESTAFETA (more details provided after booking) to enjoy and understand the Running from a Balcony. I will give you all the information you need, so that you will not miss any detail of what happens in the street. While we wait and while we enjoy the event, I will explain you the historical details and will provide you information and many other details to understand our traditions, our culture, etc. You will understand everything during and after the running event. Includes: VIP balcony, local guide and breakfast. Hours from 7 am to 08:30 am (approx.). Once the event is finished, I will lead you back to our meeting point. Os recibiré en Donostia-San Sebastián para ir al interior de nuestro territorio donde visitaremos el caserío lagar Igartubeiti (s.XVI). Después, iremos a una de nuestras bodegas de sidra para hacer un pequeño tour en el manzanal y el conjunto de las instalaciones de la sidrería. Acompañaremos esta visita con una degustación de sidra en botella y directamente de los toneles. Tras ello, disfrutaremos del menú tradicional de sidrería.

We'll explore the San Sebastian coast and it's amazing cliffs on board my exclusive Yacht called Getari. Get ready to feel the sea, relax, sunbath and swim in my favorite hidden spot. We will leave the harbour and head East by paseo Nuevo and the Kursaal cubes to the virgin cliffs only visible from the sea, it's a beautiful spot, well worth the journey, and it's the perfect place to stop for a swim. We will continue on to Pasajes bay, a stunning natural harbour with a breath taking natural entrance and then make our way back to San Sebastian. Enjoy the Cantabrian sea from the comfort of my exclusive Yacht, 2 solariums, hot showers, a full equipped kitchen with a fridge for your drinks plus myself, a seasoned sailer who will do most of the sailing. (contacte por mensaje para acordar la fecha) *8:50 Salimos en tren desde Donostia-San Sebastian hasta Zarautz (sólo dura 30 minutos). *9,20 Caminaremos por la playa y respirar aire puro *Visitaremos el mercado rural donde degustaremos producto local como sidra, queso y dulce de manzana *Después pasearemos por la parte antigua con sus monumentos y leyendas y subiremos por la calzada romana que es parte del Camino de Santiago, parando en el Torreón de 1913 para disfrutar de vistas únicas y respirar aire puro. *Cataremos dos txakolis y bonito o antxoa de Getaria mientras os explicamos el origen y el porvenir de nuestro Txakoli. *Continuaremos hasta el pueblo medieval de Getaria conocido por el txakoli y el pescado a la parrilla, maravilloso! Normally every Pintxo Bar has it’s specialty, a “must”, and I’ve personally selected the specialties from each bar.
