The George W. Bush Presidential Center is a terrific place for all ages to learn about history and Bush's experiences during his presidency.”

“There are three main areas memorializing President Kennedy: Dealey Plaza is the street area where he was assassinated. Park in a nearby area and walk to Dealey Plaza. From there you can walk on down the sidewalk of the street. The Sixth Floor Museum is indoors and has a large display of pictures and video from the day as well as Kennedy memorabilia. The Kennedy Memorial is nearby as well.”

Trail
“Coombs Creek Trail is a multiuse hard surface trail matching along Kessler Parkway between Stevens Park Golf Course and Kessler Parkway Park. The 1.5-mile hike and bike path provides access to the Trinity River levee, as well as the Oak Cliff neighborhood. It is hoped that it will eventually link up with the Trinity Skyline Trail. Interesting tidbit: there are rumors the trail is “haunted”.”

Trail
“This paved trail is easily accessible from the guest house. It can be found on the map included here. To access it, turn right on Shady Lane coming out of our driveway. Walk to the corner and turn left on Eastus. Follow Eastus all the way down the hill and you’ll see the trail across the street. Follow it in either direction, but know that it’s not yet looped, so you’ll have to turn around to get home.”
