The skydeck entrance is NOT in the main lobby of the building, but can be found on the Jackson Blvd side of the building. Lines can be long, so plan accordingly. “Check out the events page at Pleasant Home's website, for some great free local activities like ice cream socials, a monkey organ rally, holiday market, among other things. If you're here on a Friday night in August, I highly recommend the silent movies on the porch with live music accompaniment. It's the most charming thing around. Suggested donation of $5-10. They also do tours of the gorgeous historic home and sometimes have free admission in the winter.”

“Former Chess Records studio. Tours, exhibits, workshops and performances. The world is incontestably a richer place because of Willie Dixon’s musical contributions alone. Believing that his work was not yet finished, Dixon devoted much of his time in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s to the organization he founded, Blues Heaven Foundation. His vision was to allow the echoes of great American Blues to continue to develop, to encourage a new generation of blues greats and to provide for the ongoing welfare of senior Blues musicians. ”
