Alabaster Lodge is a detached lodge, built in 2023, situated on the owner’s 14-acre working farm. Set within the Wye Valley AONB with fabulous far reaching views of the rolling countryside. Warm and cosy, with full central heating, the lodge is an all year round destination for cyclists, walkers and nature enthusiasts. Uninterrupted views of the Wye Valley, where you can catch sight of birds of prey, including the beautiful red kites who can often be seen hovering over the fields on the farm.

Our cottage home is situated in the village of Ruardean which is up high with stunning viiews on all the local walks. We can see the the River Wye, the Welsh mountains in the distance and the Malvern Hills from some views. Symonds Yat is just down the road which atttracts many tourists who enjoy canoeing, walking, climbing and mountains biking in the forest of Dean. You have access to an ancient royal forest, the Rive Wye, River Severn and the Brecon Beacons.

Our cosy cottage is over 300 years old and located in the small village of Ruardean. The cottage is in the beautiful Forest of Dean however is also extremely near to the Wye Valley and so you will have easy access to both stunning areas.
