One of us is available most of the time if needed to answer questions or provide directions, etc., but otherwise we will respect your privacy.
No extra overnight guests are allowed, and no loud music/partying between 10 PM and 8 AM. We're happy to provide the futon, but It is imperative that you notify us if you'll be sleeping on it so we can provide proper bedding. No smoking or burning of anything (candles, incense, etc.) indoors. Because the house is built on "piers" (raised) sounds carry, so we request that hard-soled shoes be removed whenever possible. Please do use caution on the hardwood floors, though, because they can be slippery. Occasionally our dogs are secured outside in the back yard for a short time. They're not allowed into the rental space, although they would have you believe otherwise. We don't have maid service, so we'd appreciate your leaving the house as clean as possible. Please report anything that is in need of repair or any damages that occur. We don't host families with children under 12, as the house is not child-safe. Please note that our prices are higher during some events.
