Anna's Cottage was a great landing spot for our move to Homer. We never met Brad in person because our target landing date kept moving. He kept great communication with us, though, and also keeps a thick folder of menus, sight-seeing brochures, and other valuable information on the table to make your own way around. Brad had no qualms about having our dog And cat there - which in and of itself was remarkable.
Rustic is the best way to describe Anna's Cottage - but with hot running water and an indoor toilet. The main down-side of our extended stay here was that the indoor fridge froze everything. I lost some good leftovers when their tops popped off and overflowed. Yet, that's the little kind of irksome thing- nothing major. Overall, if you like a very firm bed, need/want to be close in town, and are on a budget this is an amazing Alaskan value.
Paul, Zizou, Jax and I will always be grateful for the accommodation which allowed us a soft, stress-free arrival to our new home town.
