SPECTACULAR VIEWS 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath,Kosher,Light

Unlike any other place to stay in Jerusalem from the moment you step inside. As soon as you walk in, the sun shines thru the glass ceiling and straight ahead is an unobstructed view of the Knesset. You're already on top of the mountain above all the rooftops. As quiet as could be. Peaceful, serenity, a totally different perspective than any other accommodation.

It's a unique one-of-a-kind place to stay. A 2/3 bedroom, 2 full bath 1500 sq ft (139 sq. meters) duplex with spectacular views. The master bedroom on the main level has an American pillow top Queen size deep-pocket mattress for your ultimate comfort. Adjacent is the large master bath with a full size bath tub and shower combo with a large mirror, large vanity and toilet. It has a built in 110/220 switch for electric shavers etc so no need for power conversion.

Upstairs are 2 rooms adjacent to each other. The 2 rooms can accommodate 2 guests in each room for a total of 4. Each bedroom has a sleeper sofa and trundle bed underneath that opens for sleeping 2 adults in each room. Please note that since the rooms are adjacent to each other, that you have to walk thru one room to get to the bathroom and shower.

Also upstairs is a large mirpeset balcony overlooking pretty much the entire city. On the mirpeset there are 2 chaise lounges and seating for 8 guests. A table and umbrella with a Weber gas grill for the ultimate BBQ.

Back downstairs the views are just as spectacular as you have from floor to ceiling an entire glass wall with views of the Knesset and Rechavia from the dining room and livingroom.

On the same level is a large Kosher ONLY Eat-in Kitchen. The large kitchen is strictly Kosher with separate sinks, separate ovens, separate microwaves, separate silverware & dishes, pot and pans. And fully equipped for Shabbat.

When we accommodate larger families or groups we use the sofa in the living room which opens to a comfortable double bed which sleeps 2. And for more than 8 guests, we have air mattresses for 2 additional guests.

High speed WIFI throughout the house. A filtered drinking water system in the kitchen means you get clean water and you don;t have to shelp plastic bottles from the market. Washer and dryer.

An Israel experience you'll remember!

The large kitchen is strictly kosher with separate sinks, separate ovens, separate microwaves, separate silverware & dishes, pot and pans. And everything you need for Shabbat.

You cannot beat the proximity to everything from this home. There is a reason the area is seeing a revival. Great home and great host!!!

As first time users of airbnb, we found the entire experience, from looking at apartments online, interacting with hosts, and choosing a destination very easy and rewarding. This apartment in Nachalot, is the best area to walk just about anywhere and the views are spectacular! The experience to live in an Israeli neighborhood rather than a hotel changed the way we will vacation. Our host, Zerach, was very responsive and accommodating to our last minute bookings for a 2 week stay over Sukkot. Although we landed quite early, (5am) he was in the apartment waiting to great us and explain how everything worked. He offered us 3 sets of keys for our family of 6, which was perfect! Zerach was very attentive throughout our stay, inquiring each day if we needed anything. As more family members arrived, he came to bring fresh towels and linens and to offer any additional services we may need. One of the most special and thoughtful things Zerach did was put up the sukkah, but left the top off so my boys could participate in the mitzvah of building a sukkah. During our stay, we invited our host for a meal and enjoyed learning about his journey to Isreal and the hesid he does in the community. Great apartment, spectacular views, accommodating host.

The greatest part about this property was the location. It is a five minute walk from the Machane Yehuda Shook which is the lively farmers market by day and music/pub area at night. It is also a 10 minute walk from Ben Yehuda Street which is a large shopping/restaurant area of Jerusalem. The Old City Jaffa Gate is another 10 minutes beyond that. The property has a terrific kitchen to prepare meals and a very comfortable family room for everyone to gather and relax. The wireless internet worked very well, and the view of the Knesset/Israeli Parliament building from the back window was beautiful. Just to be honest I believe this property really only sleeps four people comfortably. The main floor has a master bedroom with a queen size bed, and the upstairs has two small bedrooms with a single bed in each room. If you want a comfortable apartment home that has a nice central gathering place/family room + an unbeatable location then I'd recommend this property. Our goal was to not have three hotel rooms and then say, "Let's meet in the lobby at 5PM".
It was great having Steve and his family stay here. We would bring in 2 more new beds upstairs for a family or group of 6 and then the couch in the living room opens to a double which wasn't required, but that's how we would bring the total to 8 guests. We look forward to hosting you again and making your stay in Israel a safe and enjoyable experience.

The view from here is incredible! So much sun and light. Zerach provided all of the necessities and more for us to make Shabbat with ease for our sizable group (10 people) -- and on very short notice! For small children - note that there is a steep staircase in the apartment.
Thanks for the review. I replaced the entire shower, all brand new. The funny thing about the living room photos, they were all taken by Airbnb's photographer. If you think they are misleading maybe I should take them myself. Most of the photos were taken by airbnb. Also the living room heater is being repaired today as it is not operating properly. I'm glad you enjoyed Shabbat and that I was able to provide you with everything you needed. Maybe come back in the Spring/Summer and BBQ on the mirpeset? All the best. Say Tehilim 55:10-24
