New large 2 Bed apt on 2 floor, 2 wide terraces with breath taking views, big kitchen with oven, sun beds by the sea. Between Dubrovnik and Split. Enjoy and relax!
Staying at Ankica's was a great choice. You get to meet a very nice person in a very nice and well equipped apartment, in a house right at the sea with a private beach. Arriving was easy, there is private parking right behind the house (5 places for 5 apartments). Ankica has welcomed with a big smile and gave us right away the feeling of being welcomed. We have stayed (4 people) in the apartment #1, which is on the right side of the house. On the ground floor is the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room, with a big terrace - great for breakfasts or just relaxing. The view from the terrace (headed west) is directly at the blue and clean Adriatic and at the rest of the small Village of Duboka. On the 1st floor then were two bed rooms - 1 bigger without a terrace and the smaller 2nd one with an even bigger terrace. It is right above the one on the ground floor. Here the view is even better. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The only thing we were missing at first, was a washing machine, but Ankica is happy to do the laundry for you. Other than that, there was nothing else we would have needed. The town itself is small and quiet. You will find one small grocery store, a pizzeria place with reasonable food and a restaurant, which is not really recommended to visit. This all is not a problem, as there are possibilities to shop and eat not far away - 5-15 minutes drive by car - Ankica is happy to give you tips and directions. As mentioned before, the host is a very nice, available all the time and has even prepared us treats. We have received a few cakes (very tasty and refreshing during hot weather) and even got small presents before out departure. Even though someone might think the main road behind the house can be sometimes noisy, we are happy to have picked Ankica's place, we had a great time and would definitely come back again. Which we probably will :)
