This ultra luxury apartment is one of a kind. It is in a brand new building and is one of the most luxurious properties available for rent in Bariloche.
Mark's place is as described, and is well represented in the photos. The balcony is large, the view is amazing, and the location is good. It's a bit of a walk uphill from town but to me that's worth it given the view. The only issue is the second bedroom. It is at the back of the apartment, has no windows, and is somewhat gloomy compared to the rest of the apartment. There is no airflow so it gets stuffy and warm. A fan is provided, but that only goes so far. I didn't sleep well and ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room one night instead. I suppose in winter this would not be an issue but in November it bothered me. Otherwise the apartment was great.
The apartment indeed has a spectacular panoramic view of the lake. Claudia met us at the apartment and was very professional and helpful. We were particularly grateful that she allowed us to stay until 5pm on our checkout date since we had an evening flight. This apartment is perched on top of a hill and is about a 10 minute walk into town. We enjoy walking and can handle steep slopes, but if you anticipate difficulty with that , you may need a car. Overall, we had a great 5 days in Bariloche, spectacular views, great tours and hikes and a variety of good bars and restaurants. We frequented Manush - which is a brewery that also serves great food.
