Fantastic house for large groups who want to be close to downtown Austin.
THE HOME: Our house is a historic 1929 four square with modern appointments and unique charm all it's own. Exposed wood walls, ten-foot ceilings, iron work, original hardwood floors and beautiful architectural details from the 1920s make it a great place for entertaining, relaxing, and experiencing all Austin has to offer.
At 2600+ sq ft., the house will comfortably sleep 10-12 people with suitable room for extra guests. Our house is a fantastic event space for hosting private parties or company functions away from sterile reception rooms and expensive budgets.
Downstairs you will find a refurbished kitchen, breakfast nook, custom barroom, and spacious living area for dinner and drinks. The downstairs master bedroom offers a private bath and kitchenette. Upstairs are two queen size bedrooms, one full size bedroom, one single twin bedroom, and two full baths, each creatively designed and appointed with unique décor and character. The single twin room and one of the queen bedrooms both have a skyline view of downtown Austin. The home is clean, a little quirky, and pleasantly casual for guests who are looking for a comfortable, appealing home where they can have plenty of fun.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Our home is located in the Eastside historic district, just seconds away from downtown Austin. It sits on a beautifully wide street and is within walking distance to several Austin food, drink & dive staples, including: Franklin BBQ, Blue Dahlia Bistro, East End Wines, Hillside Farmacy, The Longbranch Inn, East Side Showroom, Qui, Hotel Vegas and many others. The house is also very close driving distance to well-known city staples such as Zilker Park, Uchi, Uchiko, the Long Center, Congress Restaurant, South Congress Avenue, Auditorium Shores, Sway, Perla's, Lenoir, and many more.
We are four blocks from I-35, a stone's throw to both the football and baseball stadiums at UT, and a short walk to 6th Street. The close proximity to downtown is an excellent choice for anyone looking to easily explore the city.

We both love to have a great time and would be glad to offer any assistance or recommendations to make your stay in Austin a memorable one. We only ask that you respect the integrity of the house. No smoking or pets inside. Be courteous to our neighbors and keep the decibel level within reason. We have a more detailed version for you upon arrival but basic guest etiquette is all that is required. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at any time. Enjoy Austin! :)
Creative fun loving sort. I work as a food and beverage director for a few Austin nightlife spots. I enjoy music, health, and travel. My room mate Hugo is a musician and film maker. We both love hosting on airbnb and showing folks around the city
Some of my favorite travel destinations are New York, Austin, Paris, Mexico City, and Berlin. I hope to visit Tokyo, Melbourne, Singapore, Cairo, Moscow, Rio, and many more, very soon. Hopefully this site will facilitate that! :)
