Electronic locks, guest is given code which is good during their stay. Lock can be programed by guest to a code easy for them to remember.

Home is located in the East Village and is less than a 4 block walk to the heart of the Gas Lamp Quarter. Check out the distances to local attractions in the "Getting Around" section
Distant to common destinations
San Diego Convention Center – It is about a 10-minute walk straight down 10th Avenue to Park Boulevard, then cross the brand new pedestrian bridge and you are there. Weather is almost always perfect for walking. You can also use the trolley service, the station on Park and Market is 3 blocks away. It is $5 for a one-day pass and it is an easy way to get around.
Airport – The airport is 3.4 miles. It is a 5- to 7-minute drive or about a $16 cab fare. The city bus also picks up and drops off on 11th and Broadway, less than a 3-minute walk. The fare is $2.25 and the bus number is 992
Gaslamp Quarter - It is a 4-block walk (less than 5 minutes at a normal pace) not just to the Gaslamp Quarter District, but to the center of the action. The restaurants and bars on 6th Street, 5th Street, and F Street are located in one of the busiest areas.
Petco Park – Home of the Padres. It is a 5-block walk. It is so close that all the lots around the property are used on game days.
Horton Plaza - – It is a 6-block walk. This is the main shopping mall downtown with Nordstrom's and Macy's.
San Diego Zoo – The zoo is 2.8 miles. It is less than a 5-minute drive. San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park – The Park is 32 miles or approximately a 36-minute drive.
Qualcomm Stadium – Home of the Chargers. It is 7.3 miles or about a 15-minute drive.
Sea World – The Park is 7 miles. It is about a 12-minute drive.
Beach – The nearest beach is Coronado Island. It is 5 miles and about a 12-minute drive.
Soak City Water Park - The Park is 15 miles. It is about a 20-minute drive.
Legoland – The Park is 34 miles and approximately a 40-minute drive.
Grocery Store – Albertsons, the largest downtown grocery store, is on 14th and G Street. It is less than a 5-minute walk at a normal pace. You can also drive and use their free underground parking. When you return home, you pull into your own attached garage, no elevators, etc.
Starbucks – Nearest at Island and F Street about a 5-minute walk. Coffee and coffee maker are provided in the home.

Check-in is at 3 pm and checkout is at 11 am.
I expect my guests to have fun and enjoy the home but there are policies that will be enforced. If these are violated you may be asked to leave the home, forfeit the rental amount and damage deposit, be liable for any damages and lost rental income resulting from damages.
Noise- the East Village where the home is located has laws governing noise and if noise is excessive you will be subject to a fine and termination of lease. Noise levels must be reasonable and courteous to the neighbors at all times, the home is located near other private home residences. There is no loud playing of music etc. after 10 pm or before 9 am. The stereo is on a switch and will not work during this time. All neighbors have landlord contact information to notify of any noise issues. The outside, garage and courtyard are all quite zones past 10 pm. If the police are called on a noise complaint your damage deposit will be forfeited
Balcony - The balcony is off limits pass 10 pm. The neighbors next door sleep with their windows open.
Checkout - Prior to checkout, tenant will fill and start dishwasher.
Smoking - no smoking inside the home or on the deck. This includes vapor type devices. This is strictly enforced, if this is violated damage deposit will be forfeited and you will be held liable for any odor damage done to home.
Pets - no animals or pets of any kind brought onto premises.
Number of guest - No more than 6 people may stay at the home. This is strictly enforced. Children do count as guests.
Parties - No parties or large group gatherings are permitted. No more than 6 people shall be on the premises at any given time during the rental, unless specific permission is granted in writing by the owner.
Commercial Use - The property may not be used for commercial purposes such as filming, hosting events, etc. without permission from the owner.
Fireworks - No fireworks or other hazardous materials on property.
No kegs - No beer kegs permitted on property
Illegal Activity - No illegal activity of any kind, such as but not limited illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.
Firearms - No illegal firearms
Art - No removal of art from walls.
Garbage -The Tenants shall dispose of all waste material generated during the rental period in a lawful manner. The garbage cans must be put to the curb on Tuesday evening, garbage is picked up early Wednesday morning each Wednesday. It is very important the garbage is put out to the curb.
Candles- No candle or incense burning is permitted
