The location is fantastic: a 2 minute walk from Medborgarplatsen which is the very heart of trendy Södermalm. That means you'll have cinemas, theaters, concert venues, clubs, restaurants and bars just around the corner. A few minutes away in the opposite direction lies SoFo, with designer shops, second hand stores, and bars and cafées, for the hipster as well as for those in search of a more classic feeling. Walk up the street for 4 minutes and you'll arrive at Mosebacke Square, where the terrace beside the old theatre gives you the perfect view over Stockholm. In short, the perfect location for those who want to stay right in the middle of the fun!
Metro Medborgarplatsen is 2 minutes away and it is 10 minutes by foot to public transport hub Slussen where you can catch buses, trains and subway to anywhere in town.
In the apartment there are usually two cats, so if you are allergic to cats this apartment isn't for you.
Please take off shoes in the hall. Other than that - no rules, just common sense!
I was born in 1975 and I grew up in a smaller town about an hour away from Stockholm. I've been living in the city for ten years now, since me and my wife Johanna first got together.
Things we love include: red wine, Marion Cotillard, cats, Magic Johnson, Buenos Aires, Paul Auster & Siri Hustvedt, french bistro food, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Feist and capers.
Most often we travel to European destinations, and a few years ago we were in Argentina for 20 months, a great experience. We have also been to North America a few times, but we have very little experience of Asia and Africa.
As guests we are respectful, and easy to get along with. As hosts I guess we expect the same from others!
