This booking was made in the early hours of the morning and I am unable to be at the computer 247; this is usually understandable. I texted as soon as I awoke to relay the information you requested which was already visible in the listings description. As described in my rules I ask guests for 24 hours notice for check in to guarantee I am available, which you were unable to give due to the last minute booking, this is usually not a problem and most guests understand I'll do my best for late bookings. There was a check in window given of 2pm to 4pm which I completely complied to by getting away from work early. I'm sorry you felt difficulty communicating but I believe I was doing the best I could given what you had presented me. The multiple messages formats coming from your end might not have helped either.
You decided to instant book in the middle of the night without presenting an enquiry and without giving me a chance to reply to your questions (which are already described on the listing) which you knew would effect your own comfort on the trip. I cannot take responsibility for this.
I believe the home and room are described effectively in the photos, there is even an over head photo showing areas you have access to. The huge (plus 200 square foot) room is well decorated, well equipped and has a beautiful view, I believe this is well represented in the photos I've provided and most reasonable guests have agreed as you can see from previous reviews.
Interaction with you and your group were not very nice for me. The lack of eye contact, not shaking my hand when offered and flat out ignoring me when I was trying to greet you was not very pleasant and flat out rude. You were obnoxiously loud during your stay in the room I had to ask you to keep it down several times for the sake of other people trying to sleep, you seemed to dismiss what I was saying and laugh at me the first time I had to intervene too, while trying to push me out of the room to hide what you were doing (slamming 3 die loudly off a glass table).
You behaved like very rude and immature people, helping yourself to the un sheeted duvets and pillows from the cupboard which I explicitly said was not for your use was something I was not prepared to ignore. I had already advised you via the listings details, via messages and verbally that the price you paid was based on two people sharing the double bed and If you required extra bedding that would be no problem but I would have to charge more. You must understand that I now have to professionally dry clean the pillows and duvet if another guest are to use them in the future and this has been made more of a problem for me because of YOUR poor communication.
You were rude to me, disruptive to other guests, unreasonable and your group really seemed to behave very immature when it came to living with others. You're behaviour was quite offensive and made others uncomfortable. You acted as if you were the only ones in the apartment, ignoring and disregarding my rules while being completely insensitive to the fact that you are causing more problems. I think this is unfair to criticise me for your own misunderstandings and for ignoring the information presented to you. I think = you should take some responsibility in future stays or pay the extra for a hotel room that has adequate staff and 24 hr check as that seems like the service you were expecting.
