We ask guests not to smoke in the house or garden. We are a non-smoking house.
Please behave quietly and respectfully to our neighbours and treat our home as if it were your own. If coming in late, please do so quietly as we will more than likely be asleep and our room is at the front of the house above the front door.
We work on weekends and therefore tend not to accept one night requests from those planning a late night out.
You will have full use of the kitchen and dining room so we ask guests to make use of these facilities during their stay and not to eat food in the bedroom so we can keep it nice and clean for all our guests.
We cannot allow any pets or additional unannounced guests.
We have a cat called Lola - please don't let her out the front door! She doesn't generally try to escape but please close the inner door to avoid this happening.
We trust that you will respect our home and be careful. We accept that some damage can occur in general 'wear and tear' however, damages caused by carelessness will be charged including damaged or stained bed linen. We would appreciate you bring any damages to our attention before checking out so we can make replacements before our next guests arrive. We will contact you within 48hrs as per Airbnb policy if damages have occurred.
If you loose the keys there will be a charge to cover replacements and lock changes.
A final reminder - check out is at 11am.
One of us will usually be here to welcome you, show you around the house and give you any information you may need during your stay with us in Bristol.
Whilst we will be at the property during your stay we will respect your privacy and leave you to get on with your plans / do your own thing.
We are happy to socialise and get to know guests during their stay and you're welcome to join us if we are around in the evenings. We are not party animals and don't really 'do' late nights as we prefer to get up early to ride our bikes on the weekend. We both work a couple of jobs with varying shift patterns. We like good conversation and a calm/quiet environment.
I'm a keen cyclist and live in Easton, Bristol with my girlfriend, Heidi. Together we offer a welcoming house and advice on interesting things to do in Bristol, especially those that are off the beaten track.
We have both lived in other places, including Spain, but returned to Bristol as we like it so much! We can give you a real flavour of what the city is like so you can experience it as a local.
If you enjoy cycling like us, why not bring your bike and we can provide you with cycling advice and route suggestions, extending across the city and as far as Somerset and Gloucestershire.
