This was my first airbnb experience, and it was a great one. Zak was excellent for communication. The condo was exactly what we expected from the pictures. Check-in was easy (and with complimentary bottles of yummy smelling lotion. Always a plus!) The building and condo are a little on the 'dated' side, but still very nice and very clean with sweet 'beachy' touches with the decor. Being on the top floor was an added bonus for both the view from the balcony and for avoiding any noise we may have experienced on a lower floor from someone overhead. GREAT location for the beach. It is a super quick walk to the beach, which was perfect for making trips back and forth throughout our time on the beach for snacks or if we needed anything else. A B bus stop is right at the end of the street, plus there are great little spots within walking distance. I prefer to stay on the upper end of Ocean City, away from the boardwalk, but if you are looking for more of that atmosphere, this area might not be what you would be hoping for, but for us, our main goal was proximity to the beach, and with the bus being right there (and running 24 hours a day,) we could easily get to wherever we wanted and then come back to our quieter area! (If you plan to go to the boardwalk, the bus ride is about 45 minutes or more depending on the amount of stops, and if you have kids, beware of the Seacrets people getting on and off as it gets later and later.) Parking was a little tight, but there was no issue with finding a spot, and it's under the building-super nice to keep the car from being an oven inside! Quick tip there: when you arrive, park in the back lot off of 127th for the entrance without the steps. That way you can unload your car onto one of the luggage carts and roll it right back up into the building. We did not check out the game room or the indoor pool and don't have kids, so I can't speak to any of that, but both things looked very nice. There is wifi in the building. It was a touch spotty here and there while in the room, but we were happy to have it. Central air was nice and consistent, too. The flexibility of not having to stay a full week was wonderful, too. Thanks, Zak!
