A bright and spacious, recently refurbished, artist's residence and retreat with breathtaking views. Only a 15mins walk to friendly restaurants in the village of Xaghra and Ramla beach. 15min walk along the valley to Ġgantija temples and Calypso's cave. A well serviced bus route and local grocery shop at the end of the road (5min walk). An easy, comfortable and centrally located base for adventures on Gozo or relaxing with family and friends by the pool.
A relaxed and unique location with view's of Ramla beach and valley. It is an artist's residence and retreat, having a long history of interesting guests and activities. The house was recently refurbished to a very high standard with a bright, simple and clean approach. The house generates electricity from solar panels, keeping the carbon footprint low. Set up across three floors with bedrooms on the cooler lower floor and pool at ground level. The bedrooms are large and bright. All rooms face the east and enjoy glorious sunrise with cool sea air via the valley. The house is child friendly, my 4yrs old niece can vouch for this but be aware of stairs, tiles and infinity pool.. Clean linen for all beds, towels and beach towels are provided along with the basic bathroom essentials and hair dryer. A child’s cot and high chair are also available upon request.
Guests have access to all rooms, open plan kitchen and dining area; the lounge, bedroom terraces and the pool terrace with BBQ area and off street parking. The house is laid out on 3 floors with bathrooms on all floors.
As host , I'm available to help guide guests to places of interest, cultural/local activities, water sports, restaurants and entertainment. We also have retreat services such as Yoga, Reiki and Nutritional Cleansing. We can also cater in house offering a BBQ, breakfast and dinning service. After having lived here for over 15 years, it's a pleasure to introduce guests to my friends in Gozo.
The property is split into 2 living areas. The main house for guests and a separate host apartment with separate entrance. This allows privacy for guests with access to the host whenever needed. It is very rare that I'm at the property once occupied but available 24hrs p/day by phone throughout the stay.
I always recommend car or bike hire, although the house does have a good bus service. There is also a good local taxi service but this can vary in price. We offer a welcome breakfast during the summer season. Cereals, toast, jams, eggs and fruit are provided on arrival with coffee, tea and juices. Filtered water is always available through out the stay.
The house is situated on the edge of a fertile unspoiled valley with a great walk down to the beach. Many migrating bird species may be spotted from the terraces. We also provide anti mosquito plugins and during the summer season, sun cream and fans.
Environmental Contribution introduced by Maltese Government is to be collected separately from guests. €0.50p/person x nights stay. Max charge €5.00 p/person for continuous stay. Introduced in June 2016. The contribution must be charged separately according to Malta Tourism Authority regulation.
Behave in a relaxed and respectful manner, the house is peaceful in the evenings and lively during the day (late morning onward) If you break it, fix it. If you can't fix it, let me know. If you turn it on, turn it off. Keep it simple and keep it clean. Enjoy yourself, enjoy Gozo and relax at Paci!
I'm an artist working as a painter and photographer. I have a passion for the island and its many beautiful qualities. I have a British mother and Italian father, I speak both languages and have lived and worked in both countries. I have lived on Gozo for over 15 years and find Gozo to be the happy medium.
