It was our first experience with AirBnB and I thought it was all about being a good host (and a good guest too of course). Well I was wrong. We paid more than 300 euros per night (with 150 euros for cleaning fee) for an apartment in Ibiza. We arrived late on Saturday evening (10 pm which is not that late for Spain) and were told by Lucas that he had left the key for us in a cafe. Ok. The apartment was nice but wifi was not working. The whole family needed it unfortunately (the adults to check professional emails and my student son to study a bit). We called Lucas and he told us he was going to fix it. Sunday no wifi. Monday same. Tuesday same. We used our phones to get access to the net, we went to cafes with wifi etc. we called Lucas several times but he didn't do anything. He told us he was going to ask a neighbour if we could use his wifi but then went silent! The repair guy came on Wednesday at noon when we left Ibiza! Lucas never came to the apartment or simply called us once to apologise! For that price I think we would be entitled to get a refund from him or AirBnB! We had the impression he didn't care at all and that the whole point is to make money!
Hey Lucas! Some tips for you: next time when you have a guest, leave a bottle of water in the fridge (75 euro cents), it will be very nice for those who arrive late! One last thing: IKEA is 500 meters from your apartment: go there and buy one new frying pan (10 euros I think), the one you have is all scratched, not that good for health). Those tips are only for other guests since we won't come back to your place (but we will come back to Ibiza!).
