Beautiful 1906 Historic 2-Story Congress Park Brick Home. Close to everything! 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, great private fenced back yard for cocktail hour, 6-person hot tub. Updated but very well preserved. Gorgeous original wood and stained glass throughout, modern kitchen, formal dining room, outdoor patio dining, everything you need for a long weekend in a great city. Best suited for adults of all ages (who appreciate historic properties).

Normally available weekends and holidays. Saturday night stay often required, but flexible.

Let me help make your trip to Colorado much more comfortable, fun, and reasonably priced. You'll love this old home and its super-convenient location. Lots of bang for your buck! Great for BBQ's, cooking in, or eating out nearby. Enjoy excellent Italian, Thai, Greek, Ethiopian, Mexican, steakhouse, pizza, beer, wine, tequila, breweries, pies, all within 1-4 blocks. 3 blocks from Denver's renowned Bluebird Theater for concerts, and just 1 block from the hippest section of Colfax Avenue.

Or spend hours entertaining on the patio, complete with wood deck, jacuzzi, patio tables and chairs, chiminea, gas BBQ grille, and lots of privacy in the heart of the city!

Guest bedroom w/ queen bed on 2nd floor.
Full bathroom on 2nd floor.
1/2 bath on main floor.
Rustic bedroom with 1 queen futon, and full modern bathroom in basement.

Perfect for one, two, or three couples. Note that there are 3 beds total. Not big enough for 7 or more, so 6 is the max.

Very comfortable beds and cozy bedding throughout. All of the creature comforts that you need to settle in. All linens, towels, soap, shampoo, etc supplied. Even spa robes for the hot tub.

Central cooling system (evaporative cooler) keeps the whole house cool (even cold) during hot summer months. A new furnace provides heat throughout the house during winter months.

Full kitchen with all of the modern amenities. Coffee and tea provided, as well as cooking utensils, pots/pans, spices, and other staples.

Wireless internet, stereo, CD, iPod docks, VHS, DVD, you name it. Please note that we've "cut the cord" with Smart TVs, so satellite television is not longer available. During warm weather months, we'll wrangle up some bikes so you can explore nearby parks, paths, cultural institutions and bars!

Walking distance to about 20 bars and restaurants, as well as lots of retail, fitness centers, parks, convenience store, liquor store, concert hall, cultural institutions, record store, bookstore, dispensary, and more. 3 blocks north to City Park and a short walk through the park to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Denver Zoo. A few more blocks to City Park Golf Course. 10 blocks south to Cherry Creek shopping district, 10 blocks west to the Denver Botanic Gardens and Cheeseman Park. 2 miles and a 7 minute drive west (or short bike ride) to downtown and the historic Colorado Capitol, History Colorado Center, Denver Art Museum, and Denver Public Library main branch. 2 blocks from one of Denver's best urban bike routes. 2 blocks from the RTD bus stop with a direct shot to downtown. You won't even need to rent a car to see much of central Denver (especially in the summer)! Just 5 blocks from National Jewish Hospital.

Very reasonable check-in and check-out policies. I travel a lot and hate paying for 2 nights and not getting a full 48-hour stay. If no one else is checking in, I will try to accommodate your travel schedule. Normally Friday check in is at 4:00 pm, but Sunday check-out can run late. Weekday check-out is normally around 11:00 am, but that's certainly flexible. Late stays or early check-in can often be guaranteed at half of the nightly rate. Holiday check-in and check-out is even more flexible.

This non-smoking home is best suited for responsible, mature adults of all ages. The house is 109 years old so it requires lots of tender-loving-care, but it's a very comfortable home nonetheless.

This is my second time staying at Robs house! It was great as prior but seemed even cleaner and had a nice queen bed in the basement apartment! Hot tub was great, kitchen fully stocked! Close to everything you could desire, most walking and def biking distance. Used his bikes to ride to the local park for some great mountain views! 1.5 hour drive to pikes peak and Rocky Mountain!!! Will utilize his pad again in future!

Rob was a very good host. He communicated nicely before the trip and made the check in process smooth. He was helpful before the trip also on recommendations for hiking options and left a detailed descriptions about bars/restaurants around the area. His house was charming, clean, and well represented on the pictures. The location is fantastic and is walking distance to some great restaurants and bars that we tried out. Location was just a few minutes by car/Uber from Downtown too. Overall, a great place to stay.

Rob was great! Got in touch with me during the reservation process and then again just before arrival. He was flexible and considerate. The house is awesome! Super well decorated, lots of character, and plenty of room to not feel crowded. It's got a fully stocked kitchen - seriously fully stocked. The back yard is perfect. We had a few meals out there next to the bbq. It's really close to Colfax and you can walk to shops, restaurants, bars, and even the Botanical Gardens. Rob had a great binder with a ton of recommendations which was really helpful. This place surpassed all expectations. I would for sure contact Rob again next time I come to Denver.

Very much enjoyed our stay in Rob's home. He met us at the beginning of our stay to give us the keys and walk us through the house. He also texted to ensure we were finding everything okay. The house is in a GREAT location close to restaurants and bars, but far enough away that it is quiet at night. The house was very clean and welcoming. He even left us a bottle of bubbly! We would for sure come back again.

This is the third time I've traveled to Denver recently and staying at Robs house through air bnb has by far been my best experience yet. Rob met us at our convenience and the check in process was smooth. His house is well maintained, cool, and spacious. The outdoor fenced in garden space with large hot tub is a huge plus! The location is only 2 blocks from trendy colfax area and felt very safe. Rob even had a case of local craft beer waiting for us on arrival which was a great surprise. I hope to stay here again in the future!!!
