Lovely 3200 SF custom home in a peaceful and quiet 2 acre farm setting, minutes from downtown Redmond. Our home is immaculate and well appointed, with welcoming charm. It is close to many parks and wineries and surrounded by miles of trails.
The home is meant for welcoming. We designed and built it to be open, airy and full of light. There are architectural beams and several exposed wood ceilings in keeping with the surrounding farm-like acreage. A high vaulted channel ceiling in the great-room downstairs as well as the bonus room upstairs add additional interest. It has an elegantly solid, restful feel - full of warmth and comfort. The floor plan flows seamlessly and makes it a pleasure to move around in. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and Viking gourmet range, Wi-Fi and Xfinity cable.
The entire home and immediate surrounding yard and patio as well as trail down to the creek are for you to enjoy. If you come across a fence, you have reached a boundary with a neighbor.
We are happy to assist you or help acquaint you with the area should you need it. Feel free to let us know how you like being treated as a guest - More hands-on or Not so much? No problem. :)
The home is on a self-contained septic system which requires any paper products other than tissue or toilet paper to be disposed of in the trash rather than flushed into the system.
We would like our guests to respect and care for our home and its contents as they would their own, if not a notch better (just in case someone DOESN'T take care of their own.. :) )
Your reservation is based upon the number of people stated by you on the reservation - please do not add extra guests without advance notice to us.
The home is on a septic system - no paper products other than bathroom tissues can be flushed into the system to keep it working properly.
Please have your guests familiarize themselves with these House Rules and the House Manual. It's a lot of house, and it will save you having to repeat yourself. :)
It's a QUIET neighborhood. It's why we all live here! Peaceful guests are best! Absolute quiet time after ten o'clock out of respect for the gentle nature of the neighborhood.
Please come up the driveway slowly - limited sight around a curvature with trees and the possibility of a person or animal in the driveway.
Please do not leave house (especially kitchen!!) lights burning when away from the home, or when not using the kitchen. They are halogen and get quite warm. Use under cabinet lights or stairway theater lighting for night lights when returning to the home at night.
We ask that all Outdoor lights be off at bedtime (and of course, daytime too) to protect the owls and other nocturnal birds that are nesting here. Many of them have moved here to our woods and neighboring property from the schoolyard across the street after they put up field lights!
If you will be gone all day and returning at dark, we will turn the outside lights on for your return - feel free to let us know! We usually see the need as well.
Please relax and enjoy!
My husband Jon and I are both outdoor enthusiasts. We hike and ski as well as stay busy around the place to keep the farm running. We love to stargaze at night when the skies are clear!
I rotate my horse on and off the property, and have two Labradors. As a guest, I like to be low-impact and quiet. I have a great deal of respect for people's property and privacy.
As a host, I keep an immaculate and inviting environment with comfy beds and clean fresh bedding in a spacious, luxury home in a quiet, peaceful environment. We like to give our guests privacy and stay in the background as much as possible. Our small acreage on a creek provides privacy and quiet, yet is close to all manner of shopping, dining and city life.
I like to treat people as I hope to be treated - with sincere kindness and interest.
