I had a wonderful experience staying at Homero's studio apartment. It was close to the subway as described as well as being clean and neat upon arrival. It was small of course being a studio. So I wouldn't recommend it for groups of 4 unless you don't mind all sharing a bed or using sleeping bags. The fidge is a mini fridge so be mindful of that, as well as for some reason we couldn't get the oven to work. Not sure if that's because we are not experts on gas ovens or if that needs to be fixed. The only other possible issue was the super of the building. He didn't seem quite happy that we were staying there, and almost in shock. However, reluctantly he let us continue in the building after we first arrived. Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay in New York this is your ticket.
