A secure and spacious apartment in a delightful, smart location. It is quiet, on the ground floor of a purpose built block of 1899. Transport & shops are a 6 minute walk to the King's Road. A grocery store and restaurant are 2 minutes. A "gem !"
As in any apartment building courtesy and consideration of neighbours is very important, and there are no exceptions in this matter. Common sense is the guideline !
If you have guests, please keep the noise level down ! The owners are not keen on complaints from neighbours in this respect ! I regret your security deposit may be compromised if there is a significant complaint.
You are expected to keep the apartment in a tidy condition, and take due care of the fixtures and fittings. Please report any difficulties, wear and tear of equipment, or breakages to our friendly housekeeper
On departure, please leave the flat in reasonably tidy condition, even if the housekeeper does a complete makeover after you leave. Ensure you have settled any outstandings with her before you go, and leave the keys !
There may be cleaning & laundry fees. These are based on length of the guest's stay, and will be advised at the time the a booking is requested.
One small pet may be allowed, but only with prior permission. If misleading information is provided on this point, (and sadly this has happened !) the entire security deposit may be forfeited
Thank you for your custom, I wish you a happy stay, and a safe onward journey !
I am an economist, originally from Scotland, educated in Engalnd, and now living happily in Mexico with my wife, a sucessful magazine editor. We make regular visits to Europe. My children now have their own homes, so our family home and flat are available for guests to enjoy from time to time. They have been well cared for and modernised. to a high standard
My priorities are family and friends, whom we entertain frequently. I also enjoy music and literature, and have sometimes been described as an amateur linguist and gourmet. I am sports enthusiast - fencing, golf and tennis, though sadly I now participate in some of these less actively.
My wife has an academic bent, and has a particular love for the arts and architecture, both modern and classical. This is possibly nurtured by her family traditions which go back some centuries in Southern Italy and Burgundy.
My mother in law is an interior decorator of repute, and has carried out important commissions in France, USA and Mexico. She is a French aristocrat, and the inspiration for the charm and comfort of our homes, which we cherish.
I am confident you will enjoy them too !
