The Malachite Room is on the entrance level. It has a queen-size bed, a full private bath with an antique claw-foot bathtub/shower, and a view of our beautiful Hidden Garden.
Built in the late 1800's, the Chrysocolla Inn served as a boarding house for copper miners. Lovingly renovated into a gracious vintage B&B with original wood floors, rustic brick, a cozy sitting room with fireplace, antiques throughout, and colorful garden and patio spaces.
All of our guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, private full bathrooms, and use of our beautiful shared common spaces.
I sleep on the premises and am always available by phone.
Our house specialty breakfasts are served in the sun room between 8:00 and 10:00.
When I travel I take my time. I like to feel a place, meet people, smell the spices, eat the food, ride the bus, walk through the main drag and see the store fronts. When I host guests I like to tell them about where they came and hear about where they are from. Our little B&B has a history in this little mining town and I love to share that. My guests enjoy a memorable breakfast, a good nights sleep in vintage ambiance, and the unique experience of a small town with a big heart.
