We have taken this in and have reviewed the contents of what was mentioned by the guest:
Firstly the Mattresses in all 3 bedrooms are only 2 years old and taking into account that the house is only let out about 2 months in the year and we have never in the 5 years had any complaints with this regard,our Mattresses,duvets and pillows are all Steam cleaned after each quest leaves so that it is Sterilized, de -mited and perfect for the next guests.
The House can only accommodate 7 people and at one stage there were more than 7 people sleeping over they even brought there own Mattresses!
The reason for the Wi-Fi not working was not the fault of the establishment as the guest well know, because they were there when I spent over an hour on the phone to the Network company to sort out the Wi-Fi which was finally done, I then told the guests to make sure that there was always enough Electricity because if the Wi-Fi goes down we will have the same problem to reset which happened on 2 occasions,I also found that they put the wrong cable into the Rooter.(The Guests)
The House is furnished for Holiday guests it is your basic Couches,the Dinning table with 7 chairs is in fact a Black wood Table and Chairs which is extremely expensive,all the bedrooms are done with Wooden beds of good quality.
Reason for me being in the Garden early in the morning was to make sure that the Pool is always Sparkling and clean for the guests to enjoy,this is part of my Job to see that the pool is in mint condition because if it was left to the guests to make sure it stayed clean it would have been green withing a day or Two.
My dog went into the garden with me as I was cleaning the pool and picking up papers and things that the guests would leave outside and this would go into the pool as we have very strong winds this time of year and can play havoc with the pool.
I must apologize for my dog messing in the garden this was also due to Two of the young men playing with the dog and did not close the gate,I however cleaned it up immediately. this happened 3 times but I know 3 times to many so we will rectify this in the future the Dog will not be allowed to come with me when checking on the pool.
Now comes the time when guests need to finally leave and at this stage the guests still did not give me the Breakage Deposit,I insisted that this be done before they left that day,I was asked why could I not check the house while they are there I said we needed to clean the house first as guests were arriving at 2pm and we only managed to get into the house and clean at 10.30 and most of them were still here at 11.30am and I had to ask them to please leave as we needed to have house ready for new guests,I finally checked everything and this is when the fun began,I had to get prices for the Breakages and by the 3rd morning I contacted them to meet so I could give them the deposit back after all the Breakages were deducted,they were not available I have on my phone a number of Messages to them back and forth finally they collected almost a week later,together with a mattress and a pillow that was left here.
We have been in business a very long time and we pride our selves in giving the best to the guests,we have had people from all over the world staying here and have had some coming back and sending there friends and Families here and NEVER have we ever had such a bad review.
I can however say that I was promised by the guests that they would not have wild parties,well all I can say this will not happen again that Surfers will be staying here. Sorry for the Surfers!
