I’ve booked over 50 Airbnb’s around the world and this has never happened before. First, the Wi-Fi didn’t work. A day and a half later, I was given the name of the network, but when asking for the password, I was told I needed to go to the host and sign an agreement. I said t…
Oh Samina, you are really impertinent. Our WLAN-modem was going fail on Sunday ! You arrived on Sunday night at about 11 p.m.! On Monday at about 2pm, you get a new one! And the agreement is necessary because Airbnb doesn`t cover this. It is actually an information, that the tenant is responsible for using the internet. As you surely know, do we have in Germany a different law as in the United States. In Germany is the owner of the WLAN-Hotspot in the responsibility and not the provider. But how will you judge this, although you have been in the apartment you didn’t open the door and you had no time to come in our store for 1 min in the same building to talk with us or read the paper. You forget to say, that you told me you will leave at 8:45am the apartment. I sent you at 9:00am the message that your friend must leave at 11:00 am. (normally it is 10:00am ). You will not get the message at 09:00am ?! Come on, to the airport you need minimum 45 min plus check in…. And I doesn`t screamed to your friend, we had a normal talk. At 11:50am I ring 5 times and nobody opened !! After that, I thought he is out and went in. I was very astonished, when he came out of the sleeping room half-naked ! Because of the problem with the warm water you forgot to say, that you send me a message at 5:30am that supposedly the water is not warm. I read the message at 7:00 am and cancelled my business meeting at 8:00am immediately to drive to the apartment. As I arrive, the heating system was normally running. I wrote you that, but you didn’t answer me….. We have a 100-liter warm water storage and a modern gas heating system only for the apartment. Everything is only 3 years old. If you take a permanent very hot shower for a long time ( 45 min and more ) it could be possible that the storage runs out for maybe 15 min. But who showers for such a long time and tells than the landlord at 5:30 that the warm water doesn`t work! You are very tricky in your doing, but you should be honest and stay with the truth!
