THE FLAT itself is old-fashioned and from 1924 in a time-typical corner building. It is on the top floor and has beautiful views of the Aarhus bay, city and forest and lots of light in all four directions.
THE ROOM is 24 m2 or 215 square feet with an elevation bed for one person equipped with Danish eiderdown duvets, of course. There is free and fast wifi in the room and apartment.
NB: Extra makeshift bed can be added for additional person at additional cost. Please enquire.
The large living room has a fine sea view, broad window sills and a nice bay window. It is furbished with elderly furniture and paintings, some of it antiquities. You are welcome to play the grand piano. There is a large TV set with 30 channels in various languages and free wifi.
Old-fashioned kitchen with dishwasher, juicer, kitchen-aid machine and everything necessary for producing nice home-cooked food. Likewise there is an old-fashioned bathroom with tub and shower.
The garden area is tended by gardeners and shared among the apartment houses holding picnic tables i.e.
There is one catch : In exchange for the view you have to walk 4 flights to the apartment - no lift.
The building houses people above the age of 35 who likes a quiet environment - so it is not recommendable for children or parties.
From April to October you can use the free Aarhus city-bikes There is a stand just across from the house.(15 meters)
Downtown Aarhus with Concert Hall, Aros art museum and shops are just 1.2km away. Busses leave every 10-15 min. The woods are just 400 meters away and Trøjborg with the local shops, restaurants, cinema and cafés are just 300 meters away.
The beach and the trails alongside the ocean are 800 meters off.
The apartment house is situated next to a large grocery store and bakery which is open every day until 9:00 - am also weekends.

Food: You are welcome to cook and use the kitchen as much as you wish Please help yourself to seasoning. Tap water is drinkable.
You find restaurants and brunch restaurants in Trøjborg 300meters down the street. At the University you will find various excellent and cheap canteens - open during term only. One right across the street.(Lunch only )Bakery with freshly baked bread and take-away sandwiches and a Turkish stand in the nearby Løvbjerg centre. Pizza shops round the corners. Excellent Icecream shop: Paradis Is, Tordenskjoldsgade.
