Cozy apartment with sunny balcony and view across the city to the sea beyond. In close proximity to upper Symonds Street and Grafton hospital. A comfortable walk or easy bus ride to the city, or Newmarket. We have two bikes available on request
This is our Winter home, and is fully furnished with all mod cons. The living area and bedroom get lots of natural light, and look north to the skytower. There is a small, sunny balcony with benches and a portable indoor/outdoor table; great for morning coffee, or if you like to sit out in the evening and see the city lights. The kitchen area has a sensor light so you don't need to search for a switch, and the whole apartment is decorated with fairy lights, which can be turned on and off remotely.
You will be met by one of your hosts (Iselta or Dan), who will give you a key and swipe toggle for access to the building and lifts. If you require a carpark please let us know in advance, and we will arrange access to the garage in the basement level. We request that you are quite precise with arrival times, so that we can be there to meet you. If for any reason we cannot be there, then we will arrange to leave the key in the key-lock for your convenience.
We respect your privacy, but are happy to help with suggestions, and recommend local attractions. We can be contacted by phone or email
There is a short-cut to Symonds St, through the park (Glenside Reserve South), which is accessible with the swipe toggle.
You can also exit the building through either the East or West fire exit routes (at either end of the hallway), but will need to enter the building through the front entrance.
Please treat it as you would your home. We appreciate every effort to leave it tidy and clean as you find it. Please also keep noise to neighbour-friendly levels
We are Iselta and Dan. We live in Grafton (Auckland central) in the Winter, and Waiheke Island in Summer. Iselta is a Kiwi, and Dan is originally from Romania. Dan is an artist/photographer and graphic artist, and Mary is a classical musician. We have been in Auckland for 9+ years, and are happy to help with local tips and suggested activities (our favourite eateries etc.)
