Very nice and newly renovated apartment in Historic Monument , located in the San Telmo neighborhood building. Located 300 mts from Plaza de Mayo , 500 mtrs from Puerto Madero and 500 mts from 9 de Julio Av.
San Telmo is one of the best preserved areas in the ever changing Buenos Aires, and is characterized by its colonial houses and streets, many of which are still paved with cobblestones. Among the attractions you can visit in this neighborhood, are some ancient churches (such as San Pedro Telmo), museums, antique shops and design and antiques fair and crafts, the Feria de San Telmo that takes place in the main square, Plaza Dorrego and Defensa Street every Sunday. In addition to the craft stalls, there are also street performers, musicians, dancers, puppeteers, magicians and living statues on the street during the fair defense.
Related to tango and Candombe activities are also conducted, aimed both locals and the many tourists who visit the area.
San Telmo neighborhood has many museums, despite the small size of the neighborhood-, among which are:
the Museum of Modern Art (Buenos Aires)
the National History Museum in the Park Lezama,
Argentine Penitentiary Museum,
Puppet Museum, the Zanjón de Granados
I want you to enjoy your stay in the apartment, you feel at home, using and caring for it as if it were their own.
