The apartment is situated in a renovated French-style maisonette with an elevator, strategically located in Recoleta, one of BA's most desirable and happening neighborhoods. This space with its huge rooms and high ceilings is clean and quiet. Each restful bedroom has its own balcony and overlooks a serene garden oasis. There is a gourmet kitchen with an ample dining area. It's a nicely furnished apartment with local crafts as well as art pieces by Host/Artist Eduardo Terranova. It easily sleeps six guests in great comfort. The property features a wide range of hotel-style amenities without the huge price tag. The place has a wonderful lay-out. The Apartment is located on the fashionable and vibrant Santa Fe Avenue in the up-scale Recoleta neighborhood. It is steps away from two lovely plazas and a short stroll to Recoleta Park and the much visited resting place of legendary Evita Peron. The symbolic Obelisco, the famous Colon Theater, quaint San Telmo, super-cool Palermo and really all major attractions are nearby.
The Downtown business district ("El Centro"), as well as Puerto Madero - with its conference sites and business-friendly environment - are both a short taxi ride away. Taxis abound, just outside our front door. These can also be reached by public transport. Metro cards can be provided upon request. The National Airport ("Aeroparque") is less than 20 minutes away, and services all of Argentina and Uruguay as well as the major Brazilian and Chilean airports. The international Airport ("Ezeiza") has direct non-stop service to New York, Miami, LA, Houston; Major European centers; Johannesburg; and all Latin American destinations. Ferry and plane service to Uruguayan destinations are fast and frequent.
In the immediate neighborhood, you will find plenty of quality restaurants, cafes, and clubs, both fine and fun shopping, theaters, cinemas, music venues and, of course, TANGO. Buenos Aires nightlife is legendary.
Two suites: the Curuba Suite (750 square feet) and the Rose Garden Suite (400 square feet). Each suite contains its own private vestibule, quality furnishing and carpets, lush garden views. All áreas have 15'-0" ceilings, as well as their own large, private and commodious bathroom. The Curuba Suite contains two bedrooms, one with a custom-designed king-size bed (2m x 2m) with luxury linens. The second bedroom contains a Queen bed (1.7m x 1.9m), also custom designed and with its own unique luxury linens. Each of the two bedrooms has its own private balcony facing a lush garden, its quiet is broken only by the songs of birds and rustling leaves. The two bedrooms are connected internally by French doors, which when open give a feeling of space and, when closed, provide complete privacy. This is the Curuba Suite. It sleeps up to four (4) people. The adjacent Rose Garden Suite sleeps two (2) on single beds with a big relaxing sofá as well. It has its own luxury bath, dressing área and private balcony. In total, the apartment accommodates up to six (6) guests most comfortably.
The apartment comes with a fantastic and huge, living room (650 square feet), with a dining area and inviting hammock!. Two big windows, face onto a quiet courtyard, allowing lots of air and light. The feel of the room is reminiscent of a plush, traditional Argentine country house but with layers of playful, contemporary style. Laze in the hammock, listen to music, enjoy an at-home meal, relax, swap stories all in this magnificent room! This is also the space where arriving guests are welcomed with a complementary tasting of Argentina’s signature Malbec wines or champagne. Greg is a professional wine tester and his recommendations are always a hit. Other amenities include the spacious, modern, gourmet kitchen with all major appliances, range with grill, dishwasher and an adjoining breakfast nook.

All ground transportation is right at the front door, including taxis, dozens of bus lines and the nearby the subway. Biking is an attractive option with lots of new bike lanes throughout the City and easy rentals. Really, though, BA is a great city for walking, and it's healthy too. Aeroparque, the regional airport, is a 15 minute cab ride. A modern and comfortable ferry service connects BA with the Uruguay's quaint Colonia, charming Montevideo and eponimous beach resort Punta del Este. Lots of buses, trains and airlinks connect BA with legendary resorts and natural wonders through-out Argentina and beyond. All these links are near by.
There are numerous late night dining, clubbing and entertainment venues to choose from, including 24-hour restaurants, cafes, pharmacy and kiosks, all just down the block or around the corner.

This is an elevator building and a completely private apartment. All listed spaces and amenities are within the exclusive control of guests during their stay. Guests will be provided building security and WiFi codes. There is also a private landline for local calls. Cleaning is weekly and every effort is made to co-ordinate convenient times. Information on refuse removal will be provided to guests as well as key security and safety information.
Guests will be welcomed on arrival by their Hosts Eduardo & Greg or by their friendly staff. At the end of the stay, they will also be personally checked out. Guests often request information and recommendations and the Hosts are always happy to help. Hosts are friendly and enjoy having guests but are also careful to respect guests' privacy. As a quality venue there are naturally rules regarding respect for the property, for our neighbors and for the local laws. A full color brochure with lots of useful information is provided to guests upon their arrival. Eduardo, Greg and their staff all understand that guests have many options for their stay in BA. You must provide the Hosts with a security deposit to act as collateral for any losses or damages to the Property (including its contents) during the rental period. The amount depends on the stay.
(a) You are solely responsible for all damages, injuries and losses in connection with the occupancy or use of the Property by You or your guests. You must ensure that the Property and all furniture, fixtures and effects remain in the same condition as when You checked-in. If any item is missing or damaged, You agree to pay the replacement cost of those items. If there are non-removable stains or scratches on items that can’t be repaired You agree to pay the replacement cost of that item.
(b) Should You not disclose in writing any damage or inefficiencies within 12 hours of starting the occupancy, any damaged or inefficiencies noted at check-out will be your sole responsibility and all costs /fees of noted damage will be paid for by You.
Use of Property
(a) You cannot carry out any illegal activity at the Property or any activity that could be reasonably considered offensive, a disturbance, nuisance or annoyance to the other guests, building residents, Owner or the occupants of neighboring properties.
We wish You to have an enjoyable stay, but You must respect the rights of other residents in the building.
(b) No illegal drugs can be consumed in this Property and if evidence suggests that illegal drugs are being used You will be evicted immediately with no refund of any rental deposits paid and the Owner/building also reserves the right to call the police immediately if illegal drugs are being used.
(c) Unless otherwise authorized by the Hosts, You may not bring any animals to the Property.
(d) The total number of guests cannot exceed the number listed. Please consult with the Hosts for more information.
(e) You shall not modify or make any alterations of any nature to the Property.
Food and Beverage.
( a)The establishment maintains full control of all food and beverage facilities and provisions. With prior consent, guests may have limited privileges for maintaining food and beverage for the own personal and exclusive use in facilities provided by the establishment, e.g. in refrigeration and cupboards, based upon availability. No food or beverages shall be stored or consumed except in designated areas. Guests are encouraged to avail themselves of designated areas for storage and consumption and not to consume food in their rooms. This is a matter of the establishment’s hygiene standards.
(b) Guests shall not offer, prepare or provide food or drink on the premises to third parties without prior assent by the establishment. The establishment asserts and maintains its exclusive right to provide and control all consumption of food and drink to third parties. Such consumption is based on published list of offerings and corresponding or, alternatively, based on prior agreement based on the guest’s particular requirements. Other charges may apply, including, e.g. corkage and facilities charges. Payment for any said consumption is due at the time of consumption. All such prices shall include applicable taxes. The price of provisions, once ordered, is non-refundable. Thank you.
Greg, the General Manager, is an Irishman and New Yorker who fell in love with Buenos Aires long ago.
Eduardo, the Marketing Director, is a Colombian architect-artist and alchemist who lives in New York, Buenos Aires and Berlin. Eduardo's Artworks have been exhibited in galleries and museums. His works are in several corporate collections. Both Greg and Eduardo enjoy the city life, whether they are in New York or Buenos Aires, there is always time for a cafe con leche, conversation with friends and discovering new things in an old city. In Buenos Aires going to the flea market on Saturdays and Sundays is just a treat. "All visitors to our place can always tag along" says Greg. Both love to show tourists and guests the non-turistic sites, the unknown places and the gems that old cities inherit through time. Eduardo has the "architect" glasses, so it's always nice to "see and hear" the comments through his lenses. Cities like Buenos Aires are cities to loose weight, one walks all the time and eats little to no carbs at all. It's the perfect diet-city to be!
