There are 4 acres of attractive communal gardens with two 6 meter HEATED pools, terrace, a pine forest & incredible views of the forested valley with walking routes directly into the countryside. The expansive grounds include a children's’ playhouse, climbing frame with badminton, table tennis, mini football nets in the summer months! The pools enjoy full sun morning to late evening, are open from the beginning of May to the end of September and are securely fenced & locked for your peace of mind. The communal grounds and laundry are shared with our other Gîte, Wisteria Cottage, which can sleep up to 10.
This really is our difference: most holiday makers only have one or two weeks in which to enjoy their holiday in this culturally rich area. So that you get the best from your holiday we have compiled a unique information pack covering everything ( well, we hope it's everything - we have been running our business here for over 10 years but are always excited when we find something new!). Our guests have nick-named it the "Bible" which goes everywhere! In addition, we provide an events listing on arrival covering all the local events, markets and brocantes (second hand markets). We have a small cottage in the main gardens and are also on hand for any additional help that you may require, if you so wish.

Our only disappointment was that we were all far too old to take advantage of the gorgeous playhouse in its own little landscaped garden.. we may have to borrow some under-10s and return in the near future..! PROOF WE ARE REAL?
Sadly, scamming is on the uprise. How can you avoid being a victim? Normally it would be easy to phone to verify the owner is real with some additional questions but some listing sites do not allow direct interaction between guest and host until a booking is finalised. However, most owners will have a varied web presence and can be found elsewhere with a little homework. A scammer will have none. You can find us on Linkedin, social websites, our own website and listed with the local town hall. I also list on other adverts and in the phone book. Once you've found an owner, a simple solution is to make a free voice call over the internet and ask for a quick visual look at the premises. If the owner is not nearby, ask for more proof of ownership, e.g. photos of work done on the property or photos of testimonials. Such requests will scare off most scammers. It will be well worth your while!
We run our holiday homes as a business so require that a contract is agreed and signed between both parties to protect everyone and then it also complies with French legislation. These contract terms must be adhered to.
