La Casa Risueña has been a long-planned project, built with love and passion. We finished to built the house in December 2015!
The house is located in the new residential development called “Holistika". Located just side to the center of Tulum, in a beautiful lush park.
This new neighborhood offers nature and wellness.
The house is composed of two bedrooms, each of them has a queen size bed. In the living-room, there is also a sofa-bed (be careful, the size is 170x160cm).
One bedroom has a walk-in shower, and a sink. The other bedroom has a sink. Another walk-in shower room is separated.
Full-equipped (kitchen, oven, freezer, coffee machine, fans, air-conditioning in each room, wifi,…) and beautifully located (full nature, close to the center, close to the wellness center and yoga center, just few minutes from the beautiful beach…).

La Casa Risueña has been built in the spirit of mindfully conscience and ecologically friendly material and practices.
“Risueña" means “smiling" in Spanish. It's an allusion to our way of life and our way of being to the world.
We live upstairs but we don't have any view in your house or garden. You will feel totally alone an at home.
The house is in the ground floor. You have a beautiful garden, with a wood pergola, a stone barbecue, some beautiful flowers planters, but also a private swimming pool to cool down !

We are a young thirty-years-old couple, from Belgium. We are passionate about Mexico, his history, culture and nature.
We live above the house, in a totally separated loft (not the same entrance!). Please be reassured the house and the loft are totally separated and we don't have any view on your vocational house!

Johan is an archaeologist by training. He is passionate about pre-Colombian art. He will be delighted to share his knowledge and to suggest you some excursions in the area. He will give you some very good advices to prepare and organize your trip!
Anaïs is a sociologist by training. Nowadays she is a scuba dive guide and brings people to discover the underwater world in the cenotes (the famous natural sink hole).
She will be happy to guide you in this wonderful underwater world maya!
Anaïs is especially passionate about the social and societal questions. She works since 2014 with an NGO in the public school of Tulum. She will be delighted to share with you her experience of the Mayan local life.
We would ask for no late night parties or not to be too noisy.

We are a thirty years old young couple, from Belgium. We moved in Tulum some years ago to develop our projects and follow our dreams. Johan is archaeologist by training.
