Your room is quiet and clean private studio space on the first floor with plenty of room. It is often used as a yoga studio so it has quite the zen feel. You have your own private bathroom with shower. Walk out to a spacious yard (currently being landscaped - to catch all the rainwater, have ponds with waterfalls, with a fire pit) or watch the birds from your window. Just two blocks from the subway to center city and the major universities and blocks from many shops, restaurants, and cafes.
This space is brand new, clean and open. You have complete access to a big backyard, listen and look at birds, which is unusual in the city. Walking distance to many restaurants (Kensington Quarters, Standard Tap, Heritage, Helm, Modo Mio, Fette Sau, and Frankford Hall to name a few) and coffee shops (La Colombe, ReAnimator, Gryphon, One Shot Cafe, Front Street Cafe).
I am a born and bred Philly girl. What really makes Philadelphia unique, is its people and neighborhoods. People identify with their neighborhood. And, the entire city is like a community, everyone knows everyone. I have lived in many neighborhoods over the years, and am super excited to be exactly where I am now. South Kensington - in between Fishtown and Northern Liberties (the two neighborhoods that get written up the most nationally.
The work I do is is my heart's desire. I was born (and then educated) to do what I do. I offer Communication/Life/Relationship Coaching, as well as teach classes and do staff training in conflict resolution/mediation.
My interests lie mostly in cultural and personal transformation, green/sustainable living and, of course, salsa dancing.
