A quiet detached home a 20-minute walk (1 mile) from all the gorgeous sandy beaches, such as Joss Bay and Viking Bay. You'll have a private bedroom with a comfy double bed (the bed is two mattresses nestled inside one double frame).
We have a sunny garden and bright conservatory which you're welcome to use for breakfast and two cats and a young dog who love attention. We're a young couple who love travelling - we've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs ourselves all over the world!
Our house is a gorgeous detached home with a sunny garden we're incredibly proud of. Thomas built the pond and decking which you can have breakfast on if it's warm, and we have a veggie patch we're trying not to kill! Thomas also built most of the wooden items in the house - including everything in your room.
We have two handsome and friendly cats who love attention, and a crazy huge puppy. The room has a double bed and blackout curtains. You'll have use of our main bathroom with a bath and shower. Breakfast will be a selection of croissants, muesli and fruit left in your room, which you can enjoy in the conservatory or garden if you wish. There is plenty of free on street parking and good wifi.
You'll have access to your bedroom, bathroom, kitchen (for the fridge, tea and microwave but not for cooking) garden and conservatory.
If we're home we love a good chat. We've stayed at dozens of airbnbs around the world and the best thing is meeting new people and hearing their stories and seeing how people live.
CHECK IN TIMES
Please arrange a time with us for check in so we can make sure we're home to let you in and show you your room. We offer an hour window for check in time, arranged before you arrive.
- We like a quiet life so no parties, noise, drunkenness etc.
- Please leave shoes under the stairs
I live in Broadstairs in Kent with my partner Thomas, who moved from Holland to the UK in April 2013. I'm a wedding photographer and he is a web developer. We have two gorgeous cats, Loki and Kirby, and in our spare time we love to bake bread and eat it with a good cup of tea.
As travellers, we like to get to know new people but we are respectful of people's space.
