Separate guest house on secluded property over looking pristine Dabob Bay home of world famous oysters. One bedroom sleeps 3 with a double and a single bed. Livingroom has a futon for 2 and a day bed for 1(sheets and blankets provided). Fully equipped kitchen and bath with all major appliances, pots, pans, dishes, basic seasonings and cooking oil, towels and paper products. Bring your own shampoo and toiletries. Clean-burning propane fireplace. Covered/gated deck and private parking. Beach access is from high bank. Beach combing, bird and wildlife watching, canoe and kayak available for a small fee.
This home is nestled in the woods 5 miles from the small town of Quilcene. Great access to the Olympic National Park and Peninsula, Hood Canal, Strait of Juan de Fuca, Pacific Coast Beaches and historical towns like Port Townsend and Port Gamble.
Day hikes, antiquing, birding, botanizing, mushrooming, writing retreat.
Dogs are welcome ($10.00 a night).
There is no TV, very basic internet is available ($10.00 fee) for email and web browsing (no streaming or cloud service), and cell service is spotty so be prepared to unplug for a few days.
Besides the covered deck offering a view of the Bay and woodlands, there is a grassy sitting area with Adirondack chairs. The beach is accessible by a short walk down the driveway and high bank stairs.
I live onsite, although the guest house is quite private. I will be here to greet and answer any questions or provide further information, unless other arrangement s are made.
There is a two night minimum, but on occasion a single night may be booked for an additional $20.00.
There is a $10.00 per night per person (including children) and pet fee to be added after two people.
