Welcome to Calgary! My place is right between 17th Avenue SW and Marda Loop; two of Calgary's best districts for restaurants, pubs, brunch, and shopping!
Make yourself at home on the top floor of my 3 level home where you'll have a cozy bed and your own private bathroom/shower! There are two separate bedrooms, each one has a comfortable queen sized bed in it!
The entire upstairs floor will be yours to make yourself at home. Attached to the bedroom is a private balcony with a great view of the sunrise (if you're into that) or just to sit outside and sip a coffee. It's a very private space which I'm sure you'll enjoy.
The bedroom are situated on the 3rd floor, which I rarely visit. You will also have access to the cozy living room and the kitchen, stocked with everything you'll need to prepare an excellent meal.
I'll generally be around to help you out with any questions you may have. Calgary is a short drive to the mountains and Banff National Park - you're welcome to borrow a park pass during your stay!
I'm a very friendly Canadian (That's kind of our thing, isn't it?) I was born and raised in Calgary, AB and I lived there most of my life. It's a great place to live, the mountains are 45 minutes from away - hiking, skiing, road trips. Summers are great!
I've been very fortunate to have had opportunities to travel the world. I can't imagine life without it. At the start of 2013 I quit my job (again!) and booked a one-way ticket to SE Asia and began traveling with no plans whatsoever. I ended up traveling for nearly 10 months making my way through 11 countries (India and Thailand both being amazing), finally ending up in Australia, where I based myself for most of 2014 and 2015 in the amazing city of Melbourne.
A couple other notable trips were backpacking Europe by myself for 6 months - I met the greatest people! - and my first travel adventure many years ago - the entire East Coast, and down the centre of Australia. I've seen more of the US than I have of Canada, but that has a lot to do with weather and cheap flights :)
So there's me in a nutshell. Travel is a very big part of my life, and I'm eager to share those experiences with some of you amazing people through AirBNB.
