Very comfy queen bed, small room in family home (renovated 1930s bungalow). Wonderful location close to airport, main highway, lakefront, shopping. 15 mins drive, 30 mins cycle to central Queenstown. Bathroom shared with other guests. Sunny shared living area. We make a yummy breakfast, but there are no guest cooking facilities. This room is too small for extra guests.
Our room is small with a large skylight. Spacious shared bathroom with laundry. The room has a very comfy bed, small wardrobe and place to put suitcase. This room is limited to 2 people only.
Private bedroom, shared bathroom with bath and shower. Shared laundry also housed in the bathroom. Use the living area and sunny back garden. Permaculture style with chickens. Please Note: There are no guest cooking facilities so the kitchen is not available.
We both work quite hard but are usually around to help out with local knowledge. We have lived in the area for 30 years and know lots of good stuff about the region. We love to walk, ski, cycle and enjoy the local wine and food.
Quiet time 10pm to 6am. We live on the junction of 3 cycle trails - the river trail, Kelvin Peninsula trail and Queenstown trail. Check in is after 2pm. Check out is by 11am.
Guests are welcome to join us in the living room. The kitchen is only available for breakfast, not available for guest cooking. No smoking please. Please recycle.
I live at the junction of three bike trails in Frankton, Queenstown with my partner Sean. We have a renovated 1930s house and four chickens that turn our food scraps into yummy eggs as part of our drive for lowering our environmental impacts. We're into good food, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, tramping and general future thinking/sustainability. I love music and cooking. Sean is tech savvy and when not sorting/rebuilding computers, loves his camera, paintbrush and big screen tv. Our location is awesome - 10 mins walk from the airport, 15 mins drive to Queenstown, close to the lake and lots of nearby amenities.
