Large, bright, private 2nd floor apartment in a 1900s house. My apartment is perfectly placed among Toronto's most fun & interesting neighbourhoods - the always trendy Queen St. West, hipster Dundas West, bohemian Kensington market, and more. Don't stay in a condo - live like a local in the real Toronto!
This is the real Toronto, located in what Vogue named the second-coolest neighbourhood in the world! The apartment is the only unit on the 2nd floor and the topmost in the building. It gets light all day with East & West-facing windows. Lots of beautiful mid-century furniture and eclectic decor. The bedroom is spacious and features a very comfortable double bed and awesome buckwheat & down pillows. An extra air bed is available! The den has a 48" LED TV w/ Apple TV, stereo speakers, and a turntable for your listening pleasure. The kitchen is well stocked with basics, lots of pots, pans, knives, utensils, etc., and a gas stove/oven. There's also a washer & dryer in the unit for your use. Finally, you have access to a front patio + picnic table shared with the downstairs tenants.
You'll have the whole place to yourself!
If at all possible I'm glad to meet you at the apartment to give you the keys and show you around! Then it's all yours. If I'm not in town for your stay, chances are my charming girlfriend Morgan will be and can help out with any urgent needs.
Expect a beautiful clean, quiet space and lots of neighbourhood recommendations :)
My neighbours are elderly couples (this neighbourhood is full of wonderful folks who immigrated here from Italy and Portugal in the mid-20th century) so this space is best for 1-2 quiet people. I can definitely suggest other areas to stay if you're looking to party. No pets or smoking, please! You'll have the whole 2nd floor apartment to yourself as well as access to the front patio area which is shared with the downstairs tenants - please be respectful of the shared space.
