We live two houses down the hill from the lodge and will greet our guests upon arrival. We will give an overview of the lodge amenities and answer any questions that may arise. We carry on routine outside maintenance when necessary (snow removal, garden watering, etc.), and are generally easily accessible for troubleshooting unforeseen problems. Each guest is unique, and we are happy to interact as much or as little as our guests feel inclined.
This property is a unique "living museum". Filled with original works of art and craft, both modern and antique, each piece has a personal story. Most were made by family members or by dear friends, some long ago, some recent.

I am one of a family of eclectic individuals whose common thread is woven into the rich tapestry of respect for our living earth and all beings.
Our beloved old homestead (I fondly call my hermitage) is just down the hill from the guest lodge. Here, for the past 20 years, I have been trialing various species of fruiting plants in a rambling, forest edge garden...Its a life's work of joy and of heartbreak.
As hosts we are perhaps best known for our laid-back hospitality ~ sharing good food, fireside stories, and plenty of strong, locally roasted coffee.
