Mezzanine, comfortable double bed in living room. Exclusive use for sleeping. Balcony with superb view. Shared bathroom. Very quiet select area. Suit single woman or possibly couple. Town 20 mins walk but hilly. VillefrancheSurMer 20 mins walk. Buses 3 minutes away but none after 19.30. NiceRiquier train 15 minutes walk.
You have a completely private room to sleep in, complete with TV. But as this is the living room, the space will become communal during the day, from 9.00.
There is an outstanding view but also electric blinds to keep out the light. The mezzanine is very comfortable, with steps leading up.
The mattress is 56 centimetres from the ceiling, so not suited to the claustrophobic-:)
This is a perfect place for bed and breakfast. I will give you lots of advice on how to spend your days and evenings. If you want me to show you around I will be happy to do so if I'm free. Just let me know. I will give you as much of my time as you want (or as little-:))
There is a a small bathroom and separate toilet to share with one other person - me.
In addition to the local buses, I can also lend you a bike!
Please tell me about yourself when you make a request, and why you would like to stay. The more information, the better. You can see all about me on my profile.
I can prepare a simple breakfast of toast, orange juice and coffee on request for €2 per person, to set you up for your day.
Other meals should generally be eaten outside, except by negotiation.
I'm afraid I don't take pets!
Large living room for sleeping and breakfast. After 9.00 this becomes shared space and you would need to be up by then.
Balcony and bathroom.
As much or as little as you require.
If you are looking for a unique experience in a lovely location, this is the place for you. But if you don't like hills and hate walking, it would not be ideal. I think you'll love it. Everyone does!! ❤️
I only take female guests.
Please be neat and tidy and respect my home and its environment.
Getting up time 9.00 (or earlier of course-:))
Don't use your phone on the balcony as it bothers the neighbors.
Walk and talk very quietly when you return at night as you pass in front of neighbours' bedrooms.
If there is anything you need during your stay don't hesitate to ask, but DO NOT HELP YOURSELF to food or anything else.
Please remove shoes when you come in
If you are the last to go out in the daytime, please put down blinds to protect furniture from the sun.
Use a coaster when placing drinks on furniture.
As one guest put it - there are a few rules but they are to ensure that the place remains a lovely place to stay-:)
I'm English and have lived in Nice for 30 years. I speak fluent French. I love the region and want to share my knowledge with others, so that they will love it too.
I enjoy people and making them happy. I also enjoy travelling and normally backpack alone. I'm a big Bob Dylan fan and also like grunge music, though I'm rather out of date these days. My favourite books are Catcher in the Rye and On The Road. When I'm travelling, I appreciate any time my hosts can give me. That's why I like AirBnB so much more than hotels and guesthouses. When people stay with me, I am happy to spend time with them whenever possible and to treat them as friends or family. Although generally very modern minded, I have old-fashioned ideas of courtesy and good manners.
