We are a true B&B featuring the best vegetarian breakfast in St Albans. 3rd floor suite with two queen beds. Accommodates up to 4-persons. Suite is located on Main Street right in downtown. B&B is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and Taylor park. Close to the Mississquoi Railtrail cycling and Green Mountain hiking trails. St Albans is 30 min to Burlington and 90 min to Montreal.
Our AirBnB hosting is intended to be a heathy and relaxing environment. There are a few things we do not allow nor have in the building.
a. Our building and rooms are tobacco, vape and recreational drug free. Vape is permitted in the Guest Reading area only.
b. We do not have television nor cable tv access. We do have WiFi access.
c. We appreciate no loud music, We do have other residents in the building.
d. Dogs are welcomed as long as they behave and get along with our pets. We do apologise as we cannot accommodate cats. Our dogs are not cat friendly.
e. We do not serve meat at breakfast. Although everything tasts better with bacon, we abstain. However Dara is an excellent vegetarian Chef and has me converted. We are sure you will enjoy your breakfast.
Your hosts are Dara and Ric Lavallee.
Dara is originally from Atlanta Georgia and enjoyed a career cooking for the stars in Los Angeles as Executive Chef at Nicky Blair's. She also taught along side many celebrity chefs at Wolfgang Puck's Cooking School, Ma Cuisine. She was also an educator in the Atlanta area for over 19 years including 9 years teaching Culinary Arts. Dara has her Masters in Education, attended The Cordon Bleu in London England and has certifications in Whole Foods Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University.
Ric is originally from Halifax Nova Scotia Canada and has lived in Canada, Australia and the US. Ric has enjoyed careers in hospitality, high technology and emergency healthcare. Ric is now a practicing Paramedic co-owns Safety New England a safety supply company and Keeping the Beat! CPR a First Aid, CPR and AED training business with Dara.
Dara and Ric relocated to St Albans Vermont in June of 2015 to spend more time skiing and boating, their two favorite past times.
