Our home offers 3 spacious levels of french charm. The kitchen is ideal for cooking up meals, to be enjoyed on the shaded patio. A beautiful staircase takes you to the airy bedrooms with two full bathrooms. The attic provides a large second lounge with TV.
Our home has been decorated using cherished items from antique fairs and brocante shops. We have used a warm provencal colour palette and some of the original wall paper and furnishings to leave you with a sense of the history of the home which has been here for over 200 years.
You are welcome to use all areas. The outdoor patio is shaded by a wonderful mulberry tree in summer and a BBQ is available for your use.
Our wonderful neighbours Joe & Dominique (from no 5) will give you a warm French welcome. They will provide you with keys and give you a quick tour of the house on arrival to ensure you are comfortable. They are available to answer any questions you may have - just give them a wave if you need them.
There is no dishwasher so if this is a priority for you, you may want to book elsewhere. There are two bicycles available in the house for rides along the canal.
For the comfort of all future guests, our home is strictly non smoking and no pets are allowed. If you do socialise outdoors, please be mindful of the neighbours and keep the noise down after midnight. Other than that, we ask only that you respect our much loved home as if it were your own.
Lover of travel, diving and underwater photography. While we live in Sydney most of the year, my husband and I love skipping winter to spend weeks of summer in our French home. We've put our love of all things French into this home away from home and know you'll appreciate our personal touch!
