Hello! This is a beautiful three room studio (bedroom/living room, dining room and separate kitchen) with a full walk-in closet in the gorgeous Pacific Heights Area. The place is equipped with everything you could need for a longer stay & is just blocks from markets, parks and bars. The best thing about the apartment is the view- it's a stunning San Francisco landscape and you'll get to enjoy sunsets from the living room every evening!
The basics: this is a classic California 3 room studio apartment at the top floor of a historic San Francisco building.
There's a big main room with a couch, chairs and coffee table for hanging out, a queen size bed (with a new mattress), and high ceilings with a (non-working) fireplace, and a big walk in closet. The apartment gets lots of natural light all day- and spectacular sunsets. I will provide fresh linens, sheets and towels. A gorgeous vintage bathroom has original green/black tile bath tub and shower. There is also a dining room that seats four, and fully equipped kitchen. I have a gas range stove, a big sink, dishwasher, plenty of nice cookware, blender, toaster, oven, pots, pans, plates, utensils, and cabinet and fridge space for you to use, plus counter space if you like to cook (but no microwave). There's also a french press for coffee and a teapot.
The basement of the building has a coin-operated laundry machine (washer and dryer) for you to use. Trash disposal is also in the basement. There is a strong wifi connection, but I don't have a TV. All the instructions and details will be available for you in a welcome note in the apartment.
The esthetic of the apartment is clean, modern, and a bit mid-century modern. The building is classic but well maintained. When you're not staying here, I am, so you'll share space with some of my stuff. I ask that you be kind to my neighbors and my things. I hope you love my home as much as I do, and ask that you please treat my place kindly and gently!
The entire apartment is yours! Two closets and a cabinet in the bathroom will be locked, but there's a big walk in closet with lots of shelving and places to hang things for you to use for your clothing and luggage. Anything that's not locked is available for your use.
I ask that you check in after 3 pm and check out by 10 am so I can make sure the place is clean and tidy for the next guest. If you need a more flexible check in, please message me and I will accommodate you!
The day of your arrival, I will send you a code to enter the apartment. Inside you'll have a document that explains everything you need to know and some fun local spots. You'll have my contact info and can reach me if needed.
I have stayed in Airbnb's all over the world and I'm looking forward to welcoming you to my home :)
If you are an immigrant, refugee, LGBTQIA, person of color, woman, or differently abled: please know you are very welcome here!
I travel a lot and will likely be out of the country for the duration of your stay. But I am reachable by email and phone (which I will provide) and you will also have the contact information of someone in the building who is available in case of emergency.
I hope you will treat my place as you would your own home! That said, there is no smoking, no parties, and no additional guests (beyond what you have indicated in your reservation). Violations of these rules will result in a loss of your security deposit. Please keep things clean and noise to a minimum, and I ask that you take off your shoes in the apartment. Lastly, please be kind to my neighbors :)
I'm an American who loves to travel- I try to visit at least 2 new countries per year! I like to cook, and I always bring my yoga mat with me wherever I go. I'm a very respectful guest (my parents trained me well) and an excellent writer of thank-you-notes.
