A cute, clean, sunny and spacious one bedroom apartment in prime location on Smith St. in Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill. The apartment has a full kitchen with dishwasher, a separate dining room, living room and a small sleeping alcove with a door.
You'll have full access to this cute, clean and sunny apartment including the dining room table that seats four, a living room complete with wifi tv and plenty of books for perusing, and a large kitchen equipped with full gas range, refrigerator and dishwasher. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen while staying.
The small bedroom/sleeping alcove has a comfy full sized bed, reading light and blackout shades for sleeping. Clean linens and towels will be provided.
The bedroom faces Smith Street so there is some noise as it is a retail street with bars and restaurants. Earplugs are provided should the light street traffic noise bother you. There is also a brand new AC unit just off the bedroom to keep you nice and cool in the summer months.
The bathroom is standard for NYC --the water pressure isn't great, but it gets the trick done. Lots of hot water!
I keep the apartment clean and clutter free, so you can be guaranteed a homey and clean space.
I have lived in NYC for four years --I moved from the Village to Cobble Hill one year ago and it was the best decision I ever made! I work in Urban Planning so naturally love visiting new cities and places and of course, meeting new friends along the way. I'm originally from the Midwest and have lived in Washington, DC, San Francisco, Boston before landing in NYC.
I prefer guests message me first before booking a reservation. I will do my best to reply quickly!
The apartment is in a prime Cobble Hill location on Smith Street, just steps away from great shopping, bars and restaurants on Smith Street and Court Street. I'm happy to give guests my recommendations upon arrival.
If you're bringing a car, it's pretty easy (for NYC anyway) to find street parking. Plus, there are plenty of lots nearby.
If you're looking for a little glitz and glamour during your visit, keep your eyes pealed for Allesandro Nivola, Keri Russell, Hope Davis, Tony Shalhoub, Ethan Hawke and more - they all live in the neighborhood!
You could not imagine an apartment more conveniently located to the subway. People love this the most about our place. There is no chance of getting lost, and you are "home" the second you step off the train!
Guests will have access to the whole apartment.
If I am in town, I will meet guests to welcome them and show them the apartment. If I am traveling, I will make arrangements for someone to meet guests upon arrival and will provide my contact information so they can contact me with any questions during their stay.
While the apartment itself is very nice, the building common areas are in need of updating. In particular the stairs (the apartment is on the 2nd floor) are chipped and the walls are scratched from people moving in and out. The prices reflects this.
This apartment is my home so I expect guests to treat it as if it were their own. No smoking or parties, please!
