Ideal authentic Farm house in Canada's wilderness 1hr North from Montreal.
Built in 1922 by 2nd generation Irish settlers, the Morisson house is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature at any given season. One can walk, snow shoe, cross country ski, swim in a pound walking distance from the house in a different lot we own.
Built on 2 floors, this once upon time "lumberjack home" was restored as close as possible to its original state around a decade ago.
Ski resorts ( Mount St-Sauveur, Mont Morin Heights) are accessible within 20 minutes.
A 20 minutes trip South will bring to small town Lachute where the best horse riding stable awaits you as well as its summer 2/week flee markets.
Take note that there is no spa, no dishwasher neither a microwave but we do have flat screen and DVD player. It was always intended to be this way for we wanted our OLD farmhouse to feel different from our city home.
