This beautifully restored, 115 year old historic home is the perfect gameday getaway. Open floor plan, large, renovated kitchen, spacious master bath.. this house has it all AND it is less than a mile walk to both downtown and Sanford Stadium!
The house was built in 1900, and it has a lot of character. There are heart-pine floors throughout the home, and fireplaces in both of the bedrooms. The kitchen is newly renovated and has all of the amenities you could want - coffee maker with grinder, tea kettle, gas stove, microwave, toaster, and oven. The kitchen is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast while gearing up for the game or to entertain around the island.
Guests have access to the entire home, including the backyard, laundry room, and grill. There is a full-sized bed, a queen, and a sleeper sofa to comfortably accommodate 6 adults.
I will be available by phone and by email for the duration of the stay, and I would be happy to recommend any Athens restaurants and fun spots to our guests during their stay.
Our home is just a block away from Mama's Boy, Athens' most popular brunch spot. Grab a coffee and a fried chicken biscuit on the way to the game!
We expect our guests to treat our home as if it were their own. Have fun, enjoy a beverage or two while grilling on the porch, and enjoy the full SEC football experience, while still respecting the house. No pets, and absolutely no smoking is allowed.
