Our home is in northwest Austin in Long Canyon Subdivision - a neighborhood surrounded by nature preserve. It is the perfect location to have a relaxed and scenic setting, yet you are only 15 minutes by car to downtown Austin and UT and about 5 miles away from Lake Austin.
The house and neighborhood are very private and quite. The house has 1 king, 3 queens, a full, a portable crib and 2 queen sized air matresses. There is a separate toy room for those of you with children. Each bedroom except for one connects directly to a bathroom so there is plenty of privacy. There is ample room for 10 adults.
The floor plan is nice and open. The kitchen opens into a large family room that has ample seating. If you like to play the piano we have an antique baby grand for your playing pleasure.
High speed wireless internet is available.
There is ample seating room in and outdoors for lounging or dining. We eat outside 9 months out of the year. There is a 40,000 gallon pool that is used 7-8 months out of the year. The pool is completely fenced in so you can enjoy the deck with the gates locked and your little one will be safe from the pool. In the summer months, we are in it every day and you hardly know it is hot outside! Outside there is an unfenced side yard with a play scape that you can see from the outdoor dining table.
A detached pool house serves as out weight room with free weights, a treadmill and various weight machines. There is an unfenced playscape are as well.
If being outdoors appeals to you, Austin has it all. You can run in the neighborhood or walk and it offers challenging hills and beautiful views. There are several trails and parks in Austin for hiking, running, or biking within minutes of the house. Visit Barton Springs, go canoeing on Town Lake, attend the kite festival, ACL, SXSW, and the list goes on!
$1500/night + 6% sales tax (3 night minimum except SXSW and Christmas weeks 5 night min required).
Must sign rental agreement prior to or within seven days of booking.

The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that a) all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise b) the renter and the renter's guests hold Owner's harmless from all claims of injury or loss and c) you are agreeing to accept liability for any damage to the property or excessive cleaning fees required due to your stay.

I have lived in Austin for over 20 years and love it. My husband and I are both in the legal fields with three beautiful girls. We are outdoor enthusiasts and run, bike, swim, hike all from our house! We chose this location so that we could easily do the things we love in the town we love.
