Two bed self contained ground floor annexe attached to Belmont House (used to be a B&B). King size bed and bunk beds suitable for adults. Self contained property with lounge/diner/kitchen, shower room and kitchen.
Situated in Oxford Street convenient for train station, beach, restaurants & pubs. Please note that the property is next to a main railway line and there is a pub next door (who often have live bands/people in the garden), so noise may be a potential problem.
Light and airy, refurbished annexe. Attached to double fronted Georgian house on main road with parking available for one car.
As we are centrally located, being next door to a pub, near a train line and on a busy road, and as we also use the garden, noise may be a problem for some people. We therefore would not recommend people with young children who need to sleep in the afternoon or early evening.
Own front door to side of main house behind green fence/gate area. Key safe on wall and code will be given prior to arrival to the property.
Kitchen self contained with built in fridge, hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Tea, coffee and sugar is provided together with a basic welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and butter. The local Co-op is nearby should you require more provisions.
Access to washing machine and tumble dryer. Hairdryer and iron also available.
Access to garden but no ball games (and to keep off the flower beds please). Children must be accompanied as small pond in place. We have a cat and dog who will also use the garden space.
Strictly no smoking property but able to smoke in area outside front entrance.
Sorry no pets.
Space for buggy/prams but please keep the corridor clear as this is a shared space. We have a high chair and baby bath available but if you need to hire any baby equipment such as car seats, travel cot or pram, please contact 'andbabycametoo' who will liaise with me regarding delivery (chargeable as arranged with an outside company).
Key safe on wall next to the annexe front door. We would suggest that you look at the photo of the key safe buttons (under photo section) as it is not very visible if you arrive when it is dark outside.

Please note that we are next door to a pub and also near to the railway line. As the line has a crossing on it, the trains will sound its horn so as it approaches it.
Belmont Retreat is linked to the main house. Please feel free to access the garden but as we have a small pond, we will have to insist that children are accompanied by an adult at all times. Sorry no ball games and please keep off the flower beds. We also have a cat and dog who will access the garden.
Keys can be collected from 3pm and the property must be vacated by 11am. Two night minimum stay.
We have a strict no smoking policy but there is a small area outside the entrance if you wish to smoke.

Any breakages or damage to the property must be reported and paid for.
