Bennett Bay Beach house was beautiful! We were looking for the perfect weekend get away for our friend group and this was a great fit! Plenty of bedrooms and space for relaxing, playing games, and spending time together. The kitchen was HUGE! Perfect to make big family meals and there was a large wooden table that everyone loved to eat at. The view, the decks, the beach area - All great! We would spend most of the day down on the dock or floating in front of the house. We loved everything! The dock was in need of some R&R as the mat holding the dock together kept breaking off which meant screws/bolts sticking out, and VRA did send someone out for a temp fix, but it truly was temporary as it all unhinged a few hours later when some waves came through. (It was chained to a pole so really if you could step over the foot gap you were good) We were able to avoid it but if there were every people running down the dock it would need a real fix! Besides that little bump and the fact it needs some new paint, we spent all day on it! We were only 10 minutes out of town so we were able to drive in every morning to try a new coffee place, hike through some trails, it is a calm oasis! We do wish the loft area was accessible through the house as it seemed like a separate entity, but we luckily had a few people that didn't mind having a more private sleeping area. We do in the end though wish we were dealing with a homeowner and not a property management company. We had an odd incident where boats were being stored at the dock of the house and a VRA personnel arrived twice at the place without us being notified - It would have been alright if he was nice, or even came up and said something to let us know who he was. But he was very cold and the whole thing was odd. The first time we thought he was just having a bad day, but he came back the next and was the same. Even just storing boats at a property that is being rented seemed odd to us, but we figured it wasn't a big deal since we could float around it! We do think though if the boat is being stored there, it should be available for use to the renters ;). All in all it was a great trip. The bad things were never enough to make us dwell on them and we do not regret booking! We would book the place again, esp now that we have a feel for how VRA works and know the place is worth it. Thank you Nicole from VRA for all the help! We were first time Airbnb-ers and she answered a lot of questions for us and helped everything run...
I really can't express enough how amazing this trip was for my family and I. We decided to cancel our yearly trip to Chelan with the unexpected fires this year and with only a weeks notice we were able to book and set up this house for the 12 of us! The house was even more beautiful then the pictures and the space was perfect for so many different couples and kids! The outdoor space does not come across in the pictures as well as it should but you have a beautiful space/dock/waterfront with tables and lounges just for you! There were so many different spaces that we could all find and yet felt like we were together. This trip/house was a dream come true for our family and we will certainly be back over the years to come! Thank you to Lindsey who helped with our stay! She was super helpful and called as we were just arriving to make sure everything was set up for us....even the cleaning crew was great who showed us all around the house! We had guests from 60yrs old to 3yrs old and everything in between and it was just perfect for everyone! We didn't want to leave! Thanks again! A million thumbs up!
Beautiful house, we spent an awesome weekend between friends in it! The only problem we had was the heater on the master suite wasn't turning on and we spent the first night a little bit chilly. One call in the morning to Lindsey had it all fixed as she sent someone quickly to get it fix. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
