This charming farmhouse is situated on a farm at Helle in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountains. It lies close to the sea and a small beach, only 300 metres. Great place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, a 15 min drive from the cabin, and local farm food cafe 10 min away (open during summer season). Free WiFi in the cabin.
"Bua" has an atmosphere from the 1800s, but updated with modern amenities. It's a house on two floors, with the living room, kitchen, bathroom and 1 bedroom on the first and three bedrooms on the second floor. In the old days, Bua was used to store food and clothes, and it was also the post office at Helle. The house is partly isolated, but there's floor heating in the bathroom, electrical heating in the living room and electrical ovens you can move around. Some of the beds are a bit short.
Helle has a lot of hiking areas nearby and great fishing opportunities. There is a good salmon-river in Naustdal called Nausta (you can buy a fishing-licence on the gas station in Naustdal). We have an old summer farm in the mountains where you can fish for trouts (for free).
I have collected some maps and info of things to do in the area in a guidebook in the cabin.

I live on a farm at Helle in Naustdal with my boyfriend, Leif Arne. Helle is a beautiful place by the fjord in Western Norway, and we love to welcome visitors to experience and explore the amazing nature Norway has to offer!
On the farm we have a Norwegian cattle breed called Western Norwegian red polled. They are a critically endangered breed, and that's also the Norwegian sheep breed we have on the farm as well.
