Our neighborhood is a place to discover in itself, with beatiful architecture and a handful of great restaurant and bars. We are also very close to U street and H street and their nightlife.
We have two very friendly cats and many musical instruments. You are welcome to pet the former and play the last :)
This is a non smoking home and we will appreciate your non smoking. However, you are welcome to do it in the back yard.

Breakfast will be offered for staying under two weeks. For longer staying, it will be available just for the first couple of days, until you have time to go grocery shopping.
For staying over two weeks a change of linens and a clean up of room and bathroom will happen halfway through the staying. More cleaning will come with a fee.
We have odd hours and there is a chance that we will be home during your staying. We have been known to occasionally invite guests for dinner. However, it's up to you how much you want to interact with us.
We have cats. We think it's a plus, honestly :) The house is always very clean. But if you don't like pets, are allergic, or have any similar issues, you might want to book somewhere else.
Be polite and respectful. Lock the doors. No smoking if not on the patio (and please clean your own ashtray). Otherwise, anything goes.
We are an Italian couple living in Washington DC since 2010.
We are 40ish years old, we enjoy company, cooking, music and books.
We love animals - we have two cats - and are very easy going.
We are relaxed hosts, you will find that we are present and readily available, but not in your space. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of the city, so ask away.
